Make of it what you will.  It’s like word association.  Use it as an inspiration, but not as a direct translation.  Like word association, there’s no wrong answer.

Remember: These are radio *plays*.  Not sketches.  Not gags.  There should be some sort of beginning, middle and end (which does not preclude creativity in such matters), as well as some sort of a character arc, however small.  This doesn’t mean that comedy is a bad way to go, but effort needs to be put in to make sure that it isn’t just laughs for laughs’ sake.

Call for Artists and Musicians

As stated earlier, we are looking for a pool of talent for OUAP.  In addition to writers, actors, directors and editors, we are also interested in artists and musicians.  

Musicians: We can use original pieces for the podcast, as themes, transition music, etc.

Artists: We could use art of logos for the show, for pieces, or whatever else.

Artists/Musicians:  You can also submit your pieces as one of the themes that the writers base their scripts off of.

Inaugural Episode of Once Upon A Podcast

Once Upon A Podcast is a twice-monthly 5-minute radio play podcast.

If you are interested in participating as a writer, actor, director, editor, or something else, e-mail: roni@dontworry.tv.

Actor requirements:  Time to record with other actors via Skype, Skype, stable internet connection, decent external microphone.  Please let us know what kind of microphone you are using.

There are two options to be included as a writer in Once Upon A Podcast:

1)  3 people will be chosen from the list of writers that have e-mailed expressing interest.  These people have the option of either producing it themselves or asking for assistance finding a director, actors and an editor.

2)  Anyone else can look at the theme and decide to make their own production-quality short.  If it passes muster, it will also be included in the podcast.
