Make of it what you will.  It’s like word association.  Use it as an inspiration, but not as a direct translation.  Like word association, there’s no wrong answer.

Remember: These are radio *plays*.  Not sketches.  Not gags.  There should be some sort of beginning, middle and end (which does not preclude creativity in such matters), as well as some sort of a character arc, however small.  This doesn’t mean that comedy is a bad way to go, but effort needs to be put in to make sure that it isn’t just laughs for laughs’ sake.
